E.Dee became passionate about health, healing and alternative approaches to medicine early in her life. However, growing up in Dallas, Texas it did not initially occur to her that she could combine her passion with her profession. Instead, she pursued a more traditional corporate career. She majored in Chinese at Georgetown University, received her MBA at New York University and then moved to Hong Kong where she spent more than 13 years working first in manufacturing and then in financial and legal publishing. Living in that part of the world for so long, EDee was fortunate to come across and to be treated by some of the greatest acupuncturists and herbalists in China. But, it was not until she moved back to Washington DC some years ago that she decided to become a practitioner and to help others in the way that so many of the Chinese masters had helped her.

E.Dee has Masters degrees in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the nationally recognized Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). Her practice is focused on cosmetic acupuncture, pain management, gastrointestinal disorders, menopausal women’s health, and sleep disorders. She loves the fact that acupuncture and herbs provide a non-intrusive modality which can often quickly heal problems that Western medicine has written off as chronic.

E.Dee enjoys yoga, meditation, and cooking great meals for good friends. She lives in Washington DC with her partner and her beloved cats, Judy and Marigold, who are her playmates and life teachers.
